30-minute Recurring Appointment Tutoring (More information and expectations)

Scheduling for appointments will begin Saturday, 10/2.

Appointments are best used when you need more assistance than you're able to receive in drop-in tutoring.  For example, students who find they regularly need help on more than half the homework problems. You will schedule your first appointment through OnCourse: Step-by-step Instructions on scheduling an appointment At the end of your first appointment, the tutor will ask if you'd like to make the appointment weekly recurring and then help you schedule.

Drop-In Tutoring (Hours and Location)

Drop-in tutoring is often used when students need help on some of their homework problems.  During the day, our in-person tutor rooms are a great place to work on math homework or study for exams.  Students often use the space like a library with the added benefit of a tutor or peers nearby. During the evening, our zoom tutors can help assist with homework or review questions that arise. Our tutors focus not only on helping you solve the problem at hand, but also work with you to build your understanding and knowledge to prepare you for exams.

Please note, our tutors for appointments are peer undergraduate tutors who have recently taken the course and received a B+ or higher.  That means they may not know all the answers right away but are in an excellent position to work through the problems with you and give you student to student advice on the course.
